Many academic modules across the curriculum have a clear practical application and some programmes include vocationally-specific training.
LST Vocational Services works alongside Faculty with our students, both in a curricular and extra-curricular context. We aim to envision, engage and equip you through critical practical experience and by supporting your personal, spiritual and gift formation - to help you understand more fully who you are in Christ, discern God’s call and be equipped for a life of service after LST.
Alongside all you learn in your academic modules, placement and other opportunities to serve will offer you the chance to grow:
- in grace and godly character – through community living (for campus-based students) and personal spiritual disciplines
- in personal qualities – perseverance; patience; insight; analysis; valuing others
- in transferable skills – (communication; working with others; improving learning and performance; problem solving)
- in vocational expertise – (eg church leadership; musicianship; counseling skills).
