Section outline

    • How much time is required for the intensive modules?

The 5-week modules are designed for degree students to spend two days per week studying or 16 hours (two units). It doesn't matter which days. Lifelong Learning students don't have this same requirement but will need to do two units per week in order to keep up with the class discussions in the forums.

The 10-week modules (of 10 credits) are designed to take 1 day/8 hours per week, that is one unit per week. There is also a week's break between weeks 5 and 6.

20-credit modules are designed to take two days per week studying or 16 hours (two units) over 10 weeks. There is also a week's break between weeks 5 and 6.

    • What kind of assessments do these modules have?

Most of these modules will have 2000-word essays. Some will be different written portfolios of a similar length.

Global Christianity has a presentation assessment.

The Doctrine modules and Languages have in-person exams. Since you are not studying for credit you can choose to take these exams at home at your own convenience during the exam week, or you can join the degree students taking them at LST on the assigned exam date.
