This module aims at providing a historical overview of higher education and at developing an understanding of the philosophy of higher education in order to critically engage with contemporary practice in theological education.  It also aims at critically examining the theories, tasks and practices of teaching and learning in higher education with a view to develop best practice.

This is a Level 7 module in the PGDip, MA in Theological Education programme.
