This course aims to help students to understand their historical context and, in particular, the way modern church history and contemporary history inform each other; to understand some issues of contemporary theological interest, especially those which have been controversial and to think through an informed position for themselves on these issues.

This is an optional Level 6 course for students registered for the HE Cert, HE Dip and BA Hons in Theology.
